Hypnobirthing is a fantastic way to help prepare you mentally for childbirth. This antenatal workshop teaches what happens to the body during labour, techniques you can use to promote calmness and the importance of having a positive mindset.

At this workshop, you will learn:

  • why our bodies function more efficiently when we feel calm
  • what role our hormones play
  • how the uterus and cervix function in labour
  • self-hypnosis
  • breathing techniques
  • the protective and supportive role of the father
  • why positive affirmations are important
  • various techniques to encourage deep relaxation

This workshop will help to prepare your mind in a positive way so that you can feel confident and in control for a more positive birth experience.

I used hypnobirthing so I know what difference it can make to your birth experience. I really do believe that our mind and body work together as one. A calm, focused mind allows the body to work much more efficiently. I’m so excited to share the knowledge I have with other parents! ❤️

Taking the time to relax during pregnancy is a must. Our minds can be overloaded with information which can make it difficult to switch off.

Have you seen my pregnancy support group on facebook?

The group has been set up as a support forum to be used throughout your pregnancy and the early days of parenthood. It’s aimed at women who have an interest in hypnobirthing and are looking for support towards having a positive birth experience. I post regularly with interesting information and do regular live sessions. Although there is a general focus towards hypnobirthing, I encourage discussion on any topic you want support in. This is a closed group so is a safe, supportive community.
